Someone correct me if I'm in error, but I always thought they came to Portland's Terminal 5 in the Rivergate area for off-loading. I believe I have seen them there in times past. When camping in the Columbia Gorge, I often see CP power as part of the DPU consist, if not on the front end. What happens after that I don't have a clue.
