You guys need to learn the whole story-- the IRS is already out of the picture as of last year. They came to an agreement to a lesser amount of money. There were public documents that showed where this money came from. Sharon Breen was removed from the scene by legal means.
Good !! Fred & Tom Vertel with their so-called Timberlake property came up with imaginary reasons and security concerns about Trespassers and installed those gates across the tunnel face. If it was me, I'd rip them down! Period.

Fred Vertel (the Father) is quite a strange duck in some ways. The Vertels used to live in the Bay Area in the Los Altos area. Fred had a nice home with one of the largest collections of model trains (some very rare) known to man.
Somehow a fire got started and burned the place to the ground. They moved to Oregon and the rest is history. If Fred or Tom are in the mood, and there are VERY special run days at TM, they "might" open the gates during "Daylight Hours". At sunset, the gates are closed. No more "night running" at Train Mountain... Tom and Fred feel the boogey men are going to appear and kill them or burn them out or whatever their reasoning for the "gate thing". I'm surprised this hasn't escalated into a shooting war! Probably very well could, if tempers continue to flare! Let's hope and pray that the parties can work things out!
