Divided - Huhhhh?!?- Let's have this straight. I reached my majority during the presidency of one R.M Nixon, gained my B.A. (History with second major of German) during the Carter administration, did graduate school during the Reagan ascendancy, lived abroad teaching English children how to speak German and French for the years Of H.W. Bush and most of Clinton, returning to the latter day Federal administrations. I have ever been of an independent cast of mind, and as noted elsewhere, something of a cheerleader for teaching critical thinking skills. What on Earth in my posting has anything to do with 44, save that fetched you out to display your own Obama Derangement Syndrome, consonant with so many posters here. Just so you know, I vote for officials based on their experience and pronouncements, so that a while back I voted for the Republican Sam Reed for Sec. of State in WA, as he'd been running elections, without fear or favor, for all of his adult life. I don't base my vote on unassailable belief systems, but on rational inquiry, as recommended by such as Madison, Jefferson, and Franklin. Just so with my views on the rail industry, which I have studied in depth for oh, 40+ years. "Nuf said.
