Well I can attest there are rail fans of the fairer gender. I actually met my wife when from the cab I saw a rather attractive female taking a picture of my train. I yelled "stop". The engineer plugged it. He about had a heart attack on account he thought we had someone. I knew she was the one when she stepped up into the cab and said ". I'm from Glasgow Montana. That is up on the highline". 18 months to the date I proposed to her on the same spot, and we were married exactly two years from day we met. :-)
