I remember the orange groves. We went to Disneyland probably about 1959, back when there were were the decorative gardens, and boats you rode in them around them. There was also a smaller train ride in Frontier Land that somehow my Dad got me a ride in the cab.
We lived near Mt Shasta, but had family in Anaheim--My Great Uncle had the last orange grove on Nutwood, near Katella, I still remember when it became condos, around 1971. If you ever see Fluegge Eggs, that's His kids, or grand kids, still farming (My Uncle & Walter Knott were acquaintances, my great cousin even worked for Mrs. Knott in her kitchen creating jam & jellies.)
