I'm one of those Corn Belt guys, experience with E10 has been that plug life is well over 125,000
miles, have zero emission control issues (assuming you're in a vehicle equipped for E10) and the
bullshit over the amount of corn used is just that. Corn usage per gallon has dropped 13% in the
last two years with enzyme improvements and continues to improve. Is it the best oxygen additive
probably not but it's the the disaster that people would have you believe. As to emissions, there's
CAT C series motors on an ethanol/biodiesel mix that make the proposed Tier 5 rules yet there's
zero mention because of the already bad taste for any "bio" additive.
