I like clean air, too, as my allergies get worse every year, and I want my grandkids to be able to breath while they are out watching trains, or whatever they will be doing. I have spent more than my share of time working in smoky conditions, from welding, blacksmith, machine and foundry shops and wood fired powerhouses, to firing Navy boilers and running big Diesels. It has taken a toll, I admit. There was little or no regulation about how much smoke we created or breathed. I guess my tongue-in-cheek previous post was aimed at how far will we go with all of this. Just also wary of bureaucrats and unrealistic laws and regulations, to make it harder and harder to do business. There must be a balance point somewhere and sometime, but who will decide that?
