Great research thread. There are also photo archives on line you can check - Washington State Historical Society, MOHAI are two. For instance, from the WSHS here's a photo of the King Street Station area showing the NP freight houses to the west - known as Occidental yard, or team tracks. [digitum.washingtonhistory.org]

NP had a yard out at Interbay, too, to the east of the GN about the midpoint of the yard.
