Norden to Shed 47 is a hiking/biking trail now (for most of the distance). That *could* end if UP really wanted it back, but as Judah noted it would be very unlikely. Among other things: curves, steeper grade, several tunnels to enlarge, snowsheds to rebuild, etcetc.
