Access & traffic issues were the big reasons cited for not repeating the WPGA Open @ Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish ( then known as Issaquah Highlands ) years ago.
Hey, why not run the Sounders Directionally, using Tacoma Rail's Lakewood Line in one direction ??? I know the South end of the line isn't exactly high - speed track, but it could do in a pinch.
As for the wife & I , we are planning on staying the weekend with a friend on Anderson Island, where we will ride our bicycles onto the ferry boat to Steilacoom, then up along the shore to Chambers Bay. I'm betting we'll make better time than the busses !!!
