Enjoy it while it lasts! If past is prologue, it won't last long. This is the Saudis, mostly beating on the Russians and Iranian, and trying to push the price down to where US and Canadian shale oil production (and, especially, exploration and development) have to stop because the price is lower than the cost of production. General assumption - Bakken-type production costs around $50/barrel. Historical data - Saudi cost of production is less than $20/barrel.
