GPRR does not have a good relationship with OPR.

GPRR has little or no relationship with PNWR.

POTB washed into a canyon and won't be back for two years, if ever.

Mount Hood is for sale and unlikely to be starting a new operation during that. A new owner wouldn't need double deck cars for that anyway.

Which leaves what? Rides on the 1.5 mile Peninsula Terminal? Rides on the UP main? Bilevels on the Willamette Shore? *snicker*

Remember folks, Mike used to be GPRR's spokesman and who claimed he had invented both the Lewis & Clark Explorer and the new Washington County Commuter Rail concepts, but that they had been "stolen" from him by people at ODOT and PNWR. (I even bet this post is still floating about the internet somewhere on a certain discussion board.) He has a slight Don Kirk tinge to him.

So be patient folks. When Mike reveals the new great plan, it will likely be really really really gutbustingly funny.
