I don't know much of anything about GGRM, their goals, limitations, abilities, or how much "stuff" they have, other than they have the 2472. Could 2472 be sent to Grand Canyon for a while? I remember seeing some tidbit about this possibility a while back. Or possibly the Albany & Eastern in Oregon? Could Mt. Rainier Scenic RR serve as a temporary base like Niles Canyon has? Again, I don't know much about how they would feel or go about getting to those places but they're either in traditional SP territory or have established tourist railroads and shops like NCRy. I bet '72 would look great on an Alaskan vacation as well. ;-)
