That abandoned ROW was the original Cal-P line, which ran through Jameson Canyon to Vallejo, with a ferry across Carquinez Strait to Vallejo Junction. When the "new" line to Benicia (with the ferry connection to Port Costa) was built, the line to Cordelia was re-routed to its present location.
