Not talking about funds here. Law enforcement says "we'll get a warrant," but as often as not they don't have probable cause and would not be able to obtain one. All I'm suggesting is to call their bluff. If you voluntarily agree to let them search your belongings there is a 100% chance they will do so. If you say "no," the percentage is less than 100%. It doesn't matter whether it's "Joe Schmuck" or anyone else. If you can lessen the odds against you, do it.
