It's a yellow over lunar (approach restricting) in advance of the interlocking signals at Carter Street. In photo two, above the train is a red over lunar (restricting) as the train is lined into the east end of Helena Yard at Carter Street.

MRL's definition of approach restricting, proceed prepared pass the next signal at restricted speed.
