The Valley Fever spore people only need to scare enough folks....

And, since most folks in our society haven't had much math in school (the media and politicians, even less...), it's not all that hard to scare folks, in all too many cases.

Your actual chances of contracting Valley Fever are probably pretty close to the same odds as being hit by lightning, while shooting a hole in one, as your six winning lotto numbers are pulled..... But, it "could" possibly happen, right?

And, as PT Barnum is purported to have said, "no one will ever go broke underestimating the intelligence of the average American....."
