As you likely know, the 601 was sold to private ownership in North Dakota by BN many years ago. It was trucked to private property some 15 miles away from the nearest rail connection where it sat for a number of years. Mike has owned it for 7 or 8 years. It arrived in Spokane on a flatcar and was then reunited with its trucks. The interior is mostly original and in decent condition. Mike has painted the exterior NP Lowey green and it looks nice. I will get some pictures and email them to you after I get permission from Mike.
