As originally operated bus service was from the Santa Fe Oakland depot on San Pablo Avenue to the SF depot on 4th St. Only after the Santa Fe track through Oakland and Berkeley was abandoned was the bus connection extended to Richmond.
Santa Fe had a small yard extending west from San Pablo Avenue and owned several warehouses in the vicinity. The East Bay Model Engineers Society originally was in a Santa Fe owned warehouse at this location.
