I agree, the number of preserved bus terminals is rare, but there are a few. The Cleveland, Ohio and Huntington, WV Greyhound terminals are two examples of active Art Deco/Art Moderne-style bus stations. If I recall correctly, somewhere in the South, a bus station had been preserved due to its role in the Civil Rights movement.
Speaking of railroads and buses, in State College, Pennsylvania, Greyhound and Fullington Trailways use the freight house of the Bellefonte Central which ceased service to that location 41 years ago.
