There is something strange about some of Google's search results for 3rd Street in Oakland.

I just searched for it on Google Maps, and it did point to a location just north of Magnolia Street.

And then I tried to drop the little man onto that point to enter street view and it labelled that as 301 3rd street.

And then, I moved the view down to 3rd & Washington (actually to the location of Beer Revolution, just south of the WP depot), and it correctly gave the address (464 3rd), and street view worked correctly.

Your mileage may well vary!
