During the 60s through the 70s,it was called the 'zipper' and it would pick up hot perishable loads and other time sensitive loads down around 'J' yard and go straight to General Motors(Gemco) on the coast and pick up a long string of assembled Chevrolets and that would complete the manifest. IT would fly through Northridge every night at 7:20 and whenever I was camping at Carpinteria Beach it would come by at 8:30,well ahead of the Lark which came through Northridge at 10:10 and 'Carp' at 12:25..my guess is that the 'Zipper' made SLO ahead of the Lark
