Why stop there? Only two sellers, selling to many buyers, is a very unbalanced and skewed market - and in the practical sense not much better than just one seller. It is not a free market at all, unless both sellers and buyers have adequate choices (many to choose from).

You are right though! Unless we voters throw both the Demicans and Republicrats out for something better (almost anything's better); merger mania will probably continue until there is only one giant corporation left that does everything! -- Corporate Socialism anyone?
