A long time ago, on a planet far far away, I remember a "driver's ed" video I saw in High School that was shot at Glenarm and Arroyo where the SP came off the the private ROW where the High School is today, with the SP (Alco diesel) "hitting" a car full of teenagers "racing" the train....
Since there was nowhere to turn around, I assume that they ran caboose first shoving up from Alhambra? Some of these buildings are still there, near the Gold Line Huntington Hospital station.
There is also a collection of great shots of the military hospital trains of 1945, bringing guys back from the battles on Okinawa and in the Philippines down on Arroyo Parkway, too.
