I was born in Pasadena in 1941 and remember well the SP trackage in town. But, I never recall seeing an actual live train! So, thanks for posting the Stan Kistler photo. The one strong image in my mind was the American Freedon Train being parked on those tracks in the late 1940's, and seeing the REAL liberty bell plus a beautiful, big the white ALCO PA that was pulling the train. Thanks for reviving the memories!!!
