STB has responded that dues to the cessation of Freight Service a expedited decision is underway and that any replies to the petition are due no later than 12:00(NOON on Thursday October, 6th, 2016. And, a conference Call is scheduled for 3:00 Eastern Time on Thursday October 6, 2016.


In the hands of the STB and assuming that the information submitted in the request is accurate and no details have been left out, freight should be moving very soon after the conference call. That being said, this is in California and even Gary Busey can't measure the kind of crazy that happens in that state.
