This is truely disappointing news to hear, Stathi is a great guy with much knowledge in steam restoration and does great work. I am sure he will find a new home with another railroad who will want to utilize his steam skills for their operation. Would have been nice to have another steam tourist railroad here in the PNW. Hope they can figure things out and continue forward with their steam program.

On a more positive note, SP 4449 will be operating the Holiday Express in Portland starting next weekend. If you will be in the area be sure and purchase tickets and ride. It is a great event for the entire family with a beautiful run along the river on the Oregon Pacific railroad.
