Oh yeah, part of the steam program's legacy was selling the 2-6-6-2 #108 to a South Dakota owner.

That loco was delivered in olive green and aluminum paint. Would have made a jaw-dropping static restoration. In South Dakota it will get the clown paint treatment and be operated until it is all used up.

I guess we are supposed to be thankful for this amazing deal... yeah right.
