It might not have been a slam on the NWRM by Stathi. They(NWRM) might have made promises about future activity they have been unable to keep or meet. Perhaps funding for projects, or vision for how they should go or move forward.

Steam takes lots of money and is hard to run without a full commitment to doing so. If Stathi felt a lack of support for his work, or the future of steam at NWRM it was probably not a hard choice to head to somewhere else.

Wishing all parties the best, Hopefully the East Coast is good to Stathi and the NWRM has great success with diesel pulled trips.
