Disagree, Sweet Pea... Read again what I stated:
The TOTAL WEIGHT of EACH of those two locomotives was 276,000 pounds compared to 300,000 pounds for SP 2472. The Tractive Effort for each of the P-7 Pacifics was 40,750 pounds compared to a tractive effort of 43,660 pounds for SP 2472. The boiler pressure for the P-7's was 200 psi. It was 210 psi for SP 2472 (a P-8).
