I didn't know that Washington Group put in a bid for the UP lines to Hooper. I know that when BNSF put up the P&L and CW package that MRL was interested and even talked to communities on the P&L about their thoughts on increasing train traffic. But the floods of '96 came and the joint WSDOT-IDOT fly over of the lower P&L and their wholly inaccurate assessment of damage killed their interest. When did Washington Group's bid for the UP take place?? What were they interested in?? Thanks.
