I transferred from SP's LA Division to the Western Division in January 1972. From then until December 1975, I lived at the west end of Garden Lane in Millbrae, which abutted the tracks. They were about 50 yards from my living room window. During the entire time I lived there, the Millbrae Local worked out of Bayshore. It would arrive Millbrae around 10 AM after the morning commute fleet curfew and depart for Bayshore around 6:30 PM after the afternoon commute fleet curfew.
