I look forward to the consultants September report and am hopeful that the report shows and recommends that the Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad should be put back into operation.

If that is the recommendation, it will give a strong basis for me and others to campaign both personally and organizationally for spending our State of Oregon $$$ to provide whatever FEMA match is necessary to repair the line.

The Pacific Northwest Chapter, National Railway Historical Society is already on record with the Governor supporting the POTB Railroad.

Meanwhile, without the consultants report the future of the POTB Railroad is in limbo and I don't know what actions would be beneficial.
