Jake Park is gone, left for something else. Last I heard he was in Oakland on some non railroad project. Jake "The Snake" Studer is running the shitshow still as far as I know. The NWPco is a mess and a joke. It's traincrew is a foamer fuckfest just like the San Francisco Bay Railroad. So much wasted potential. That's what happens when you have a former politician and a consulting group run a railroad with a bunch of foamers at the controls. Sonoma Pacific wanted to ship out chip cars but no one in Palo Alto ever followed up with the owner of SP. While these are great ideas to make the most out of a shortline the marketing people can't even keep contact with the current customers. Maybe the county will foot labor but I highly doubt it. It will be a truck operation. Besides no big power can be in the Brazos Sub. Too weak.
