Ron when your paycheck says Northwestern Pacific Railroad on it and you have to drive to Palo Alto to deal with Judy 13 days after you should have been paid, then you can say you know more than everyone else about the current NWPco. operations. Till then have mom safely drive you around. When you have put your sweat equity into the railroad and have walked the line as much as I have, then you can say you know more about the Brazos Sub than me. Till then have mom drive you around. Jake Park wasn't too bad of a guy. Just a hot head and cowboy when it came to switching. Jake Park hasn't been with NWP for the better part if the year.

Jake Studer is a P.O.S. He took over the management from the previous manager when he was out of town dealing with a family members cancer surgery. He convinced the owners he could run the railroad for way cheaper and that he was a better choice. I mean who does that? What a @#$%&.

Standard Structures would be the ideal place for trans-loading but like others have said it would be a lot to move the junk in there around. if this were to happen The NWP power would be enough. They have moved 50 car empties out of Schellville with just #1501. NWP would just run shorter trains to and from wherever the trans-loading operation would be. The most likely scenario would not involve NWP at all. When the tracks do get washed out, like they do every year, Lagunitas, Hunt & Behren's, and Dairyman's use a trans-loading facility on the CFNR next to the palm tree at the American Canyon engine house to bring their products the last few miles in a timely manner. There is plenty of infrastructure at American Canyon to facilitate this. Plus CFNR uses UP road power to bring their Fairfield train over the "hill". This is how the unit tank cars that are stored in Schellville get moved. NWP can't get reliably move current customer's shipments now. They can't market to get new customers on line. Even if this was to work out, it would be just like SMART's rail trains. A few of them and done. Now go back to editing your videos of the same train crossing at Black Point. Stay off the tracks and out of the way.
