Looks like he's got a good start going now. Max & Thelma Biegert started this venture back
in the late 80's because they were business poeple AND because they did not want to see that
line go away. My feeling is that the present owner cares only about the bottom line. We
are all the poorer because of it.
I am so glad that I rode the line and made as many visits as I did. And that I had the
pleasure of working for them in '99. I still stay in touch with the people that I worked
with. My only time running a mainline steam loco occured on the GCRy. I'll never forget it.
