I did not intend for you, SLM or HEP to be lumped in with the rest of the "experts" as you and the other gentleman have a very good understanding of what it takes to make a shortline work, the costs,the pitfalls.
Be glad you do not have to deal with the BNSF they make the UPRR look like Saints or even angels.
Politics and railroads make poor bedfellows just look at the NWP and the drain on the taxpayers with good money goping to a bad place when the other Califorina shortlines could use the money to make needed repairs on track that at least has a potential to move traffic.
