NP ran 6-axle Baldwin unit for a period on P&L. Units BNSF typically assigns to grain trains in the northwest do not have radial trucks as they are -9 GE units. Only self steering units on BNSF are the SD-70 & 75 series units usually in coal service. If CW can handle the SD-45's as it has, P&L should have no problems outside of bridges---curves should be o.k.
