The line north of the museum, towards Dozier and Cannon, is fairly intact although there are some washouts, etc. It's not as scenic (except in Spring wildflower season) as the line south, and trains would have to be (God forbid!!!) diesel-powered. Unfortunately, most members who were interested in that sort of operation were run off or left in disgust several years ago due to the efforts of the museum's entrenched group of train-haters. Those trains made the museum a lot of money back when, but oh well...
