Alex,
I don't "google" so I'm not sure what you are referencing there. I do have a good old hard copy of Webster's Dictionary if that's where you're going.....
As for seeming overly authoritative, keep in mind that when (1)the apriori, (2)basic statistical analysis, and (3) actual present day observations are on your side, it's a crime not to state such facts with authority.
Roughly ten years ago the IPCC stated that it was the "consensus" prediction that earth's average temp would warm 0.03 degrees Celsius by 2010. That was the prediction. The reality is that Earth's average temp has fallen 0.03 degrees Celsius as of 2008. Given that the short term predictions are off 200%, what does that hold for the IPCC's longer term predictions?
And meanwhile we're set to embark on overbearing CO2 regulation to "stop" global warming (your aforementioned "problem" right?), whilst we're in the midst of an onset of long term cooling according to most solar scientists! Is that pure dissonance or what?
As for your railroad stock, I'd dump it if the perfect storm of a supermajority Dem government comes to the fore. If that happens coal is dead along with the four major US Class I's who depend on coal for 40% of the ton/miles.
