To see the famous Brooklyn Roundhouse on Google Maps / Earth look for the following in south Portland :

SE Holgate BLVD & the railroad tracks (running north--south) (just east of SE Milwaukee Ave).
In fact SE Holgate Blvd goes directly OVER the center of the former SP Brooklyn Yard.
This basic area is located just north-west of Reed College + Crystal Springs Lake area.
The Roundhouse area is also located just SOUTH of US 26 also named SE Powell BLVD.
This is located just north--east of Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.

Remember that ALL of these roads I reference are very MAJOR Arterial Roads.
I hope this helps you to find the Brooklyn Yard area!
