I've also wondered whether Metrolink-type service on this branch would've been a better fit than LRT (given that it was a branch line for many years). That would also afford the opportunity for freight service to come back in the future.
All moot, though.
I would be happy just to see the Green Line extended to the Norwalk Metrolink station. That might solve a lot of problems.
