Yeah know, when the voices speak to you, leaking through the tinfoil hat....and repeats, over and over...every time someone says the magic word "SMART"...

"EVIL SMART"... "EVIL NWP".... "EVIL TRAINS"... "BAD THOMAS"... "EVIL BECHTEL GAUGE"... "EVIL BART"...

This is why actors don't mention the name of the "Scottish Play", it's bad luck, too...

Yes, it is late in the refinance cycle, but, not too late, as interest rates are going to stay less than inflation, especially if the Federal Reserve is forced to accommodate and push down interest rates, if the world economy tanks, to keep the US economic "boat floating" over the next year. And, refinancing will still save SMART's "funders" (aka..us taxpayers...)a boatload of interest.

And. who ever gave SMART's management the award for being the brightest bulbs with the best managed such project in America? And, who has given the SMART Board an award for its steady focused leadership, consensus, or consistent direction, in the development of SMART?

Its better late than never, on refinancing, and why not pass their sales tax extension when they also have the opportunity to save that kind of money, and the resources to continue with upgrades, additional equipment, more DT, and the extensions to achieve a level of service that can do a better job of moving folks in that corridor.
