NW still has a J, doesn't it?

As for a trip to LA (which LV-Barstow is part of), it makes sense because 4014 was retrieved from a museum in Pomona. Bring the working version back for a show-off. Otherwise, Big Boys were never a California thing, so why bother with sending it to the Bay Area?
