Another troll, and no trains, of course....
The Fall bi-annual "blend" change refinery "accident" season is upon us and the 3 refiners who hold a 90% share of CA refining are, as so often happens at blend change, "accident prone" again, which seems to "always" somehow manage to shut down refinery capacity in the Spring and Fall, and add about 60 cents a gallon which they lift from our wallets....
But, fear not, I see from one of the port camera's that the tankers of CA blend are already arriving from Indonesia to break the current "accidental" bi-annual refiner price gouge....
Now, if we could just get rid of the ethanol mandate, which does nothing at all for our air quality, that couldn't be done with additives that cost less than tenth as much, except maybe "reduce" driving a tiny fraction, due to the extra 20-25 cents a gallon. Money which we transfer to the ethanol producers, in a Congressionally mandated (and promoted by so-called "conservative" farm state members????) socialist scheme to redistribute wealth, for no real environmental benefit, using money stolen out of consumers pockets....
Ethanol is at least a topic that would involve tank cars and RR's, though.
