Presumably parking would have to be provided for apartments thus worsening traffic conflicts with the movement of buses.

The possibility of future storage expansion would be eliminated.

Complexity and cost would be amplified and the likelihood the facility would have to be shut down during construction. Another storage site would be required to house the displaced equipment.
