NOTE SP 2472 WAS NOT IN LARKSPUR AND WAS NOT IN THE TUNNEL WHEN THE FIRE STARTED cal northern did not go to San Rafael at all and pull it back the line was closed from novato to San Rafael.i used to walk the line growing up and had walked and biked through the tunnel.
the fire started on the San Rafael side of the tunnel the larkspur side had caved in somewhere i have photos of the cave in as a vol fire fighter of Larkspur i know what was going on in town .
