Why isn't the Porto Colonet project rail link looking at the Old Inter-Cal line into Baja west of Algodones? The right of way exists from Araz Jct to the Mexican side and presents significantly less disruption than the Yuma alternatives and doesn't require a new Colorado River Bridge.
