The Bee reported yesterday that the son had died from his injuries as well. It was contained in an article about railroad right of way fatalities.

The article did not talk about the complacency of the trespassers as a cause of death. It mentioned last weeks death of a teenager in Elk Grove walking down the tracks with his headphones on. I don't see many people walking across freeways, especially to live and talk about it.

I think a massive education blitz needs to hit schools and other targeted audiences. Fences won't stop the problem.
