Here is the arrival of BN 21, former SP&S 1, arriving in Portland, on time at 9:00am on Saturday, May 1, 1971. As I mentioned before, it was pulled by a BN GP9 that is a former SP&S passenger unit (thanks Jim 700), and a GN F7B. The consist is typical of all the times I saw the SP&S streamliner: two (or three) units, two SP&S head end cars including an RPO, SP&S Coach, GN dome coach, GN sleeper, SP&S diner, SP&S sleeper-lounge, NP dome coach and NP sleeper. I never saw any variance in the consist, although I'm sure it occurred.
